The shooting of the film began on 25 February 2012 in London. The film starts with the introduction of the new characters. Shardha (Madhuri Dixit Nene) is a widow who loves money and jewelry, Raghu (Akshay Kumar), who is single-mindedly determined to make it big in his business, Srishti (Asin Thottumkal) who wants to be an actress but her father wants her to get married. Raghu's friend, Akaash (Ritesh Deshmukh) and his girlfriend, Sapna (Lara Dutta), are looking for their own house. Twinkle (Deepika Padukone), who is a jeweler and lives on the 2nd floor of Raghu's house, has a boyfriend Sonu (Rajpal Yadav) who always dreams of making it big in Bollywood. Asin and Ritesh make a cameo appearance as themselves. Shardha, a widow, helps her sister-in-law Gudiya get married to Raja alone for his money. After Raja marries Gudiya, Shardha asks him for the money that he owes her from the deal they made before getting married. Raja sends her to someone who demands Rs. 70 lakhs by midnight or she would be killed. He tells Gudiya to go to his film's HD video launch party and tell people that he is there. By the time, his friend, Akaash, gets to know about this, he goes with Gudiya there instead of Raja. Aakash arrives late after saving some people from a burning building. There are many guests inside including Raghu celebrating Akaash's birthday.
